What is the overtime rate for Wellington Music ?
If the event goes overtime in excess of 10 minutes, the client will be obliged to pay $30 per musician for each additional 15 minutes.
What if I don't see the song XYZ in the repertoire, but I want it ?
It is possible to prepare custom arrangements for our clients. Arrangement fees may vary depending on the length of the piece. If a particular piece of music is available at a Toronto music store, we will obtain it for our clients at cost plus shipping.
Someone wrote music for my wedding. Will Wellington Music play it ?
Wellington Music will play anything as long as it is properly composed to accommodate string instruments. We also require the music 4 weeks in advance. Extra rehearsal time might be necessary before the performance, which is added to the booking time.
What is the musical background of the musicians ?
Members of Wellington Music are performers of Toronto Symphony, The National Ballet Orchestra, Canadian Opera Company, Windsor and Hamilton Symphony.
Will Wellington Music rehearse with my singer ?
Yes, Wellington Music will rehearse with your singer on the day of the wedding no more than 20 minutes before we begin to play.
Can I have Wellington Music come to my dress rehearsal ?
Wellington Music is very experienced with playing weddings and a dress rehearsal isn't required for the musicians unless you insist. However, it will cost $100 per hour per musician in addition to mileage if it is outside of Toronto
I'm going to have a Greek Orthodox ceremony. Can I have music in the ceremony ?
The Greek Orthodox Church doesn't always allow music during the ceremony. Please contact your priest prior ceremony to confirm your music choices.
